DESCRIPTION:Final conference of the project “SHARE – Survey of Health\, Ageing and Retirement in Europe” was held on June 1\, 2023 in the Crystal Hall of The Westin Hotel. The conference was opened by the Minister of Labour\, Pension System\, Family and Social Policy\, Marin Piletić. Assoc. prof. Ph.D. Šime Smolić\, head of the SHARE project in Croatia\, presented the results of the project\, while associate professor Ph.D. Ivan Čipin\, collaborator on the project\, presented the monograph “Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on the lives of the 50+ population”. At the end of the conference\, a panel entitled “Economic\, health and social challenges of demographic aging – insights from the SHARE study” was held\, in which Ivan Vidiš\, associate professor Ph.D. Šime Smolić\, associate professor Ph.D. Ivan Čipin and Ph.D. Predrag Bejaković. Anita Hrstić was the moderator of the panel and also the program manager. DESCRIPTION:On February 14\, 2023\, the second workshop as part of the SHARE project was held at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb. The workshop was organized by the Ministry of Labour\, Pension System\, Family and Social Policy in partnership with the Faculty of Economics and Business in Zagreb. \nThe aim of this workshop was to increase the knowledge and strengthen the analytical abilities of employees in labor market institutions. In the first part of the workshop\, the basic actions and techniques for analyzing survey data were presented. Then\, the basic features of the SHARE database (modules\, generated variables\, special databases\, etc.) were presented. In the second part of the workshop\, the questions from the 6th wave of the study were covered in more detail using the example of the Croatian CAPI questionnaire. In the last part of the workshop\, practical examples were presented in which data from the SHARE database for Croatia were analyzed.

DESCRIPTION:The SHARE Wave 9 Post-Field Rehearsal (FiRe) will be held online from April 14 to 15\, 2021. FiRe is the final test of the SHARE wave 9 questionnaire before the start of the main field research. \nDuring the testing of this questionnaire\, data were collected based on about 100 telephone interviews in two phases. DESCRIPTION:From 1 to 3 April 2020\, the online SHARE Wave 8 Midterm Meeting was held. The coronavirus pandemic has prompted scientists gathered around the SHARE study to respond quickly to the current situation. As F2F interviews were discontinued from mid-March 2020 for the safety of our respondents\, it was agreed that the effects of COVID-19 would be investigated by telephone interviews lasting 20-25 minutes using the “SHARE Corona” questionnaire.

DESCRIPTION:The SHARE wave 8 Post-Field Rehearsal (FiRe) will take place from 20 to 21 September 2019 in Budapest\, Hungary. FiRe is the last questionnaire of the SHARE wave 8 before the start of the main field research. \nDuring this phase of questionnaire testing\, data from 100 interviews were collected. The main goal of the testing phase was to identify potential gaps and errors in the instrument.
