The First Results Book based on data from SHARE waves 6 and 7 was presented. The Book covers various topics from the socio-economic status and health of individuals during the life cycle.
\nSHARE places special emphasis on the interrelationship between health, social well-being and the socio-economic status of older people. A person’s health, economic status and social networks are not predetermined. On the contrary, they are shaped by the interaction of biology, the conditions of growing up in a parental\/family environment, and the education of a person throughout the life cycle.
\nThis monograph, therefore, provides an overview of the first results of the sixth and seventh waves of the study and serves as a kind of inspiration for insight into what types of research SHARE data allow.
\nFinally, SHARE has a unique interdisciplinary, lifelong and internationally comparative approach.
