Assoc. Prof. \u0160ime Smoli\u0107, PhD, Country Team Leader of the SHARE study in Croatia, and Prof. Ivan \u010cipin, PhD, SHARE study Associate, participated on 28 November 2025<\/strong> in the symposium \u201cTogether for Healthy and Active Ageing.\u201d The symposium is organized within the EATRIS-CONNECT project, led by Prof. Fran Borove\u010dki, PhD, from the University of Zagreb School of Medicine. One of the aims of this project is to promote collaboration among different research infrastructures, which is why the symposium is being organized in cooperation with the SHARE-ERIC infrastructure, focused on studying the effects of health, social, economic, and environmental policies on the life course of citizens in Europe and beyond.<\/p>\n

Other institutions from various fields will also be involved in the symposium, with the aim of ensuring a broad interdisciplinary perspective. Active ageing and health in older age are key challenges of contemporary society. The event provides an opportunity for networking, collaboration, and the exchange of experiences among experts from various public, academic, and scientific institutions.<\/p>\n
